Our Merryfisher 1095 ‘Pure Calm’ combines exhilarating performance with generous accomodation in her 3 cabins. Add in the spacious flybridge and versatile layout in the saloon, and it’s not hard to see why she’s a popular choice with members.
The comfy and light saloon provides good protection when needed, or simply slide back the doors on sunny days! With so much space onboard she’s the ideal boat for day trips or longer passages overnighting away with family and friends.
Pure Calm is part of our boat share fleet based in Hamble.
From her large flybridge to the recessed walk-around side decks, there is plenty of space and easy access to all areas onboard ‘Pure Calm’. With the patio doors open, the spacious cockpit leads seamlessly through to the main saloon and galley, with an eating area to seat 4. Underway, 2 of these seats can be converted to face forwards.
Below decks, the forward cabin has an island berth that sleeps two adults comfortably, Another cabin contains a double bed, and the starboard cabin has two single berths. Both are private spaces with easy access to shared head and shower facilities.
For a boat offering so much space and accomodation, her performance is outstanding with top speeds over 30 knots. Powered by twin Suzuki 300hp outboards, the Merryfisher 1095 makes for an impressively comfortable ride.
Due to her height she does carries windage, but her twin outboards complemented by the bow thruster help to ensure good control at close quarters. The side door from the main helm station and starboard side deck gate are also useful features when mooring.
Pure Calm is coded to CAT3 for 10 people (allowing passages up to 20 miles from a safe haven). She also operates under CAT2 for 7 people (allowing passages up to 60 miles from a safe haven). She carries a full inventory of safety equipment including lifejackets and harnesses.
