The Race:
Race onboard our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ in one of the most popular RORC races on the calendar Cowes – St Malo race. With 2023 as a Fastnet year, it will be a bumper entry list and we should see some fantastic racing. This race duration is 151nm.
The RORC race to St Malo takes place on Friday 7th July and forms part of the JOG Offshore series in 2023.
The itinerary (subject to change):
It is best to come down Thursday evening for an early start the next day.
Friday – Early set off time around 6am. Race day.
Saturday – Arrive in St Malo and if time allows have a crew meal.
Sunday – Departure back at Hamble with the aim to be back Sunday evening. Please note this could change and you may not be back till the early hours of Monday morning.
Accommodation:
Please let know if you are planning to stay in Hamble or wish to stay on the boat on Thursday night. During the race, you will be sleeping in shared cabins appropriate to the number of crew and space available and watch system.
