If you only make one event this year, make it our summer social – a day of boating and meeting other members.
No experience is needed. Boats will be skippered so you can relax, race and have a fun day out. Feel free to bring guests.
The day:
– Relaxed morning meet
– Briefing prior to casting off
– Fun sailing race from just outside Hamble to Osbourne Bay
– Motor boats follow same course but stop for lunch at anchor (sailors have to lunch on the go)
– Return to dock for drinks / social at Banana Wharf
It’s a brilliant day to expand your boating network and crewing opportunities, whilst learning and sharing tips and experiences. Familiarise yourself with the cruising area and enjoy a day of social sailing or motoring.
The day starts at 9am at Port Hamble, returning by 5pm. Lunch will be on board (please bring your own lunch).
