Our Hanse 388 ‘Pure Release’ offers so much for a 38 foot yacht. With a large rig and sail area coupled with the long waterline, her cruising performance sets ‘Pure Release’ apart from the rest.
She’s popular with members as she offers a roomy, spacious layout both above and below decks and is well set up for the easy sailing experience Hanse’s are famous for.
She’s well suited to both short-handed and fully crewed sailing, so whether day sailing or coastal hopping, our 388 is well designed to look after you on your adventures.
Pure Release is part of our boat share fleet based in Hamble.
Pure Release offers a clean and uncluttered deck layout with all control lines run aft for easy access from the helm.
Her spacious cockpit ensures there is plenty of room under sail or when moored, whilst her twin wheels and central cockpit table allow unhindered access to the large aft swim platform.
Down below, large hatches and windows provide a light and airy feel throughout the spacious saloon, super-sized galley, 2 double cabins and single heads. Her large aft storage locker to port is handy for extended breaks.
Hanse’s are renown for their simple handling and ‘Pure Release’ is no exception. With all control lines and the chartplotter within easy reach of the helm, she’s ideal for short handed sailing or less experienced crews. She has a conventional furling headsail and slab reefing mainsail with single line reefing on the first 2 reefs.
Hanse’s semi-balanced rudder blade gives smooth, effortless control and through the folding 2 blade prop, her 40hp engine delivers all the power needed for passage making and marina handling.
Pure Release is coded to CAT2 (allowing passages of up to 60 miles from a safe haven) and carries a full inventory of safety equipment including lifejackets and harnesses.
