Pure Latitude was founded by Martin Gray in Hamble as a better alternative to owning your own boat. Since then, the club has grown in size and scope.
Today, members have access to a quality fleet of sail and motor boats, a wide range of training options, and a full events calendar.
The club has two main bases in Hamble and Lymington, and additional locations in Plymouth and Windsor.
Pure Latitude was founded for pragmatic reasons. Sharing a fleet of well-maintained boats offers much more flexibility, choice and value than owning one boat.
However, we quickly realised that Pure Latitude offers a lot more than ‘just’ a superb fleet of boats. As a member, you’ll share in the wealth of camaraderie, knowledge and support that is part of club life.
From the outset, Pure Latitude has been about building a club and sharing model that works for everyone.
Fast forward through 15 years of growth and the core principles of Pure Latitude remain: flexibility, availability, support and community.
