Our Oceanis 30.1 ‘Pure Drive’ is part of Beneteau’s latest generation of yacht design with full-length hard chines contributing to her internal volume and hull stability.
She’s popular with members as she offers unbeatable living space for her size and is simple to sail with an enjoyably lively feel on the helm.
She’s also flexible in terms of how you want to sail. For beginners or short handed sailing, she is easy to handle.
Pure Drive is part of our boat share fleet based in Lymington.
Pure Drive offers an open, spacious cockpit layout with halyards and lines run aft from the mast to the coach roof pit winches.
Her twin wheels and central cockpit table allow unhindered access to the small aft swim platform.
Down below, her light oak finish provides a welcoming feel throughout the saloon, 2 double cabins and single heads. The good size shower room has the toilet on one side and shower and washbasin on the other.
With her slender bow, twin rudders and square top mainsail Pure Drive performs well on all points of sail. She has a conventional furling headsail and slab reefing mainsail.
Through the fixed 3 blade prop, her 20hp engine delivers all the power needed for passage making or close quarters manouveres.
Pure Drive is coded to CAT3 (allowing passages of up to 20 miles from a safe haven) and carries a full inventory of safety equipment including lifejackets and harnesses.
Additional systems include: Anchor windlass, webasto heating, B&G Zeus chartplotter, autopilot and more….
