This weekend mile builder is perfect for anyone wanting to gain coastal and night sailing experience, but also for those wanting to visit some destinations a bit further afield.
Depending on the weather forecast, we expect to set off from Hamble on Friday evening and after leaving the Solent, head across the channel for Alderney. In the event that conditions are unsuitable for a channel crossing we’d endeavour to make a passage of similar mileage along the south coast.
For those with suitable experience, this is also an ideal opportunity to skipper a leg and tick off a qualifying passage for the Yachtmaster qualification.
