Our Fountaine Pajot 36 catamaran ‘Issamella II’ offers an abundance of space and is packed with great features for comfort, speed and sail handling.
She’s popular with members as she is a manageable size for Solent catamaran sailing whilst offering an abundance of accommodation and a spacious saloon and outside dining area. She’s well suited for extended periods onboard if you are looking to expand your horizons..
Issamella II is part of our boat share fleet based in Hamble.
Her dual purpose hard top provides plenty of protection from the elements when in the aft cockpit, whilst also incorporating a molded helmsman’s to starboard that has all sail controls easily to hand.
Her large aft cockpit offers plenty of seating and flows through the double doors into her spacious saloon and galley.
Down below in each hull, she has a light and airy feel throughout her 3 double cabins. The heads and shower are forward in the starboard hull.
With all control lines (inc. the all important traveller for Catamaran handling) easily accessible from the helm, she’s very manageable under sail. She has a conventional furling headsail and slab reefing mainsail with single line reefing on the first 2 reefs.
Under power, she’s easily managed with two 30hp engines providing excellent manouverability and all the power needed for passage making.
Issamella II is coded to CAT2 (allowing passages of up to 60 miles from a safe haven) and carries a full inventory of safety equipment including lifejackets and harnesses.
