From the buzz of the starting line off Cowes to the moment you cross the finish\, the atmosphere is truly unforgettable. If you’re after adrenaline-fuelled competition\, breathtaking scenery\, and a huge sense of achievement\, this is the race to tick off your sailing bucket list. \nThe Race\nExperience the thrill of the race on Pure Latitude’s brand-new XC42\, a stunning performance cruiser that blends speed\, precision and comfort.\nRacing under the ISC handicap system\, you’ll enjoy an exhilarating yet accessible competition\, flying spinnakers\, honing your teamwork\, and pushing for every knot of boat speed. It’s the perfect mix of competitive sailing but generally a bit less hardcore.. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\n \nFriday – Meet your skipper and crew at 09:00 in Hamble for a full day of hands-on race training. You’ll focus on coordination\, sail trimming and race tactics to get the most out of the boat. In the evening\, sail across to Cowes for a crew debrief and dinner ashore. \nSaturday – Race Day! Expect an early start as you join the spectacular mass start off Cowes. The race typically lasts 8–9 hours\, with the fleet stretching as far as the eye can see. Afterwards\, return to Cowes to enjoy the post-race atmosphere and celebrations. \nSunday – Sail back to Hamble. \nAccommodation\nYou’ll be staying onshore in Cowes.\nAccommodation is not included\, and spaces nearby fill quickly\, so we recommend booking early.
