DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble\, the X-Yachts GB Solent Cup makes for a great weekend of racing and socialising. Join our X-Yacht 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ for a training day on Friday\, followed by two days of fun racing. There are optional (paid) social events on the Friday and Saturday evenings plus prize giving on Sunday. \nRacing experience desirable but not essential. We welcome enthusiastic learners. \nThe weekend usually includes\nFriday 29th May – Training day\nArrival at Hamble for 10.00\nCrew Dinner \nSaturday 30th May – Race Day\nOff dock 09.00\n2 races followed by  themed dinner & party. DESCRIPTION:Race onboard our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ in the 2026 JOG Coastal Series. JOG races are known for their friendly but hard fought competitiveness and also for the great social events staged at the end of each race. Suitable for all skill levels\, come along and spend the weekend improving your sailing skills on the race course\, as well as enjoying the camaraderie of fellow team members. \nThe Race’s\nThis consists of two races\, Cowes to Yarmouth and Yarmouth to Cowes. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nSaturday-Off dock at 8am\, Race to start followed by a Crew Dinner at a local restaurant in Yarmouth.\nSunday-Race Day followed by departure back at Hamble. \nAccommodation\nStaying overnight in Yarmouth.\nWe do have accommodation available ashore in a crew house at an additional cost. Please let us know if you want to book this. \nPlease note\nPrice does not include onshore accommodation or catering. The itinerary is subject to change dependent on weather.\nWe do need this event to be full for us to race. We will review this a month before.

DESCRIPTION:This masterclass is designed to help you get to grips with advanced sail trim\, using the control lines to vary sail shape for different conditions and points of sail\, not to mention making the boat go faster. You will practice a range of upwind and downwind trim skills\, to include halyard tension\, car positions and sheet angles to set draft and twist. \nA professional instructor will explain the primary and secondary effects of all controls and simplify the sometimes complex black art of sail trim to provide a faster and better-balanced boat.

DESCRIPTION:The Channel Island Flotilla is a fantastic opportunity enjoy some adventure cruising under the guidance of our lead yacht. \nWe encourage you to make your own boat booking and join the lead boat across the Channel to explore these idyllic islands. Alternatively\, join us onboard our lead boat and choose whether you simply relax or learn from our professional skipper. Motor boaters welcome (and get more time to enjoy!). \nThe Channel Islands is an unforgettable boating destination offering stunning coastlines with unspoilt beaches and picturesque harbours. Ashore\, the rich history\, charming mix of cultures and exceptional cuisine add another dimension. The plans for this trip\, as always\, are weather dependent so a precise itinerary will be decided closer to the time but the lead boat will plan to depart Hamble late on Wednesday 25th June and return by 5pm on Monday 30th June. Accompanying boats should cross together but once you arrive\, you are free to vary your itinerary\,  perhaps choosing to extend your trip to enjoy more of the islands or even return sooner. \nAccommodation onboard :\nSaloon berth: £800 or 80 points.\nPrivate cabin : Twin occupancy @ £1500 or 150 points. Single occupancy @ £1000 or 100 points. \nBooking a boat: \nBook your own boat to join the cruise following the PL lead boat.\nThere is no cost to join with your booked boat. This is the boat to join if you’re a keen racer or want to experience the cut and thrust of true race conditions. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nFriday – Meet your race skipper and crew at 09:00 in Hamble for a full day of training\, focusing on teamwork and optimising boat speed.
