DESCRIPTION:If you only make one event this year\, make it our summer social – a day of boating and meeting other members.\nNo experience is needed. Boats will be skippered so you can relax\, race and have a fun day out. Feel free to bring guests. \nThe day: \n– Relaxed morning meet \n– Briefing prior to casting off \n– Fun sailing race from just outside Hamble to Osbourne Bay \n– Motor boats follow same course but stop for lunch at anchor (sailors have to lunch on the go) \n– Return to dock for drinks / social at Banana Wharf \nIt’s a brilliant day to expand your boating network and crewing opportunities\, whilst learning and sharing tips and experiences. Familiarise yourself with the cruising area and enjoy a day of social sailing or motoring. \nThe day starts at 9am at Port Hamble\, returning by 5pm.
