This race duration is 78nm\nThe JOG race to St Vaast takes place on Friday 1st May and forms part of the JOG Offshore series in 2026. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nFriday – 10:30am arrival  – Depart the Port Hamble around 12:00. Race day.\nSaturday – Arrive in St Vaast and if time allows have a crew meal.\nSunday – Departure back at Hamble with the aim to be back Sunday evening. Please note this could change and you may not be back till the early hours of Monday morning. \nAccommodation\nPlease let know if you are planning to stay in Hamble or wish to stay on the boat on Thursday night. During the race\, you will be sleeping in shared cabins appropriate to the number of crew and space available and watch system. \nPlease note\nPrice does not include catering.

DESCRIPTION:Race onboard our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ in the 2026 JOG Coastal Series. JOG races are known for their friendly but hard fought competitiveness and also for the great social events staged at the end of each race. Suitable for all skill levels\, come along and spend the weekend improving your sailing skills on the race course\, as well as enjoying the camaraderie of fellow team members. \nThe Race’s\nThis consists of two races\, Cowes to Yarmouth and Yarmouth to Cowes. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nSaturday-Off dock at 8am\, Race to start followed by a Crew Dinner at a local restaurant in Yarmouth.\nSunday-Race Day followed by departure back at Hamble. \nAccommodation\nStaying overnight in Yarmouth.\nWe do have accommodation available ashore in a crew house at an additional cost. Please let us know if you want to book this. \nPlease note\nPrice does not include onshore accommodation or catering. This is the boat to join if you’re a keen racer or want to experience the cut and thrust of true race conditions. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nFriday – Meet your race skipper and crew at 09:00 in Hamble for a full day of training\, focusing on teamwork and optimising boat speed. Return to Port Hamble in the evening for a crew debrief and dinner ashore.\nSaturday – Race Day – Expect an early start and around 8–9 hours of racing around the Isle of Wight before returning to Hamble for departure. \nAccommodation\nStaying overnight in Hamble.\nPlease stay onshore and we highly advise booking early. If you’re after adrenaline-fuelled competition\, breathtaking scenery\, and a huge sense of achievement\, this is the race to tick off your sailing bucket list. \nThe Race\nExperience the thrill of the race on Pure Latitude’s brand-new XC42\, a stunning performance cruiser that blends speed\, precision and comfort.\nRacing under the ISC handicap system\, you’ll enjoy an exhilarating yet accessible competition\, flying spinnakers\, honing your teamwork\, and pushing for every knot of boat speed. It’s the perfect mix of competitive sailing but generally a bit less hardcore.. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\n \nFriday – Meet your skipper and crew at 09:00 in Hamble for a full day of hands-on race training. You’ll focus on coordination\, sail trimming and race tactics to get the most out of the boat. In the evening\, sail across to Cowes for a crew debrief and dinner ashore. \nSaturday – Race Day! Expect an early start as you join the spectacular mass start off Cowes. The race typically lasts 8–9 hours\, with the fleet stretching as far as the eye can see. Sail aboard our X-Yacht 37 Pure Attitude and soak up the unforgettable Cowes atmosphere. \nThe Racing\nThis year’s Cowes Week promises to be extra special\, with commemorative events\, heritage celebrations\, and exceptional racing.\nYou’ll take part in four days of competitive yet friendly racing\, a perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills\, teamwork\, and tactics.\n\nItinerary (subject to change)\nFriday evening – Sail over to Cowes and enjoy a crew dinner at a local restaurant.\nSaturday – Bicentenary race day followed by a relaxed BBQ and evening celebrations.\nSunday – Race day followed by dinner and social evening in Cowes.\nMonday – Race day followed by dinner and social evening in Cowes.\nTuesday – Final race day before returning to Hamble. \nAccommodation\nWe recommend booking accommodation early in Cowes. Join our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ for a training day in Dartmouth on Tuesday\, followed by four fabulous days of inshore regatta racing in picturesque South Devon. \nThe Race\nDartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week is the UK’s largest sailing regatta after Cowes Week appealing to the serious racing enthusiast\, but also offering family friendly events for the novice or cruising yachtsman. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nWednesday – Meet onboard for a training day on the water\, followed by a crew dinner.\nThursday– Sat – Daily racing\, with crew dinners each evening.\nSunday – Final race day followed by departure. \nAccommodation\nWe recommend you book accommodation (early) in Dartmouth. There are limited berths available onboard and are available on a first come first serve basis.\nIf accommodation is required\, please do discuss requirements with the PL team.
