DESCRIPTION:Race onboard our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ in the 2026 JOG Coastal Series. JOG races are known for their friendly but hard fought competitiveness and also for the great social events staged at the end of each race. Suitable for all skill levels\, come along and spend the weekend improving your sailing skills on the race course\, as well as enjoying the camaraderie of fellow team members. \nThe Race’s\nThis consists of two races\, Cowes to Yarmouth and Yarmouth to Cowes. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nSaturday-Off dock at 8am\, Race to start followed by a Crew Dinner at a local restaurant in Yarmouth.\nSunday-Race Day followed by departure back at Hamble. \nAccommodation\nStaying overnight in Yarmouth.\nWe do have accommodation available ashore in a crew house at an additional cost. Please let us know if you want to book this. \nPlease note\nPrice does not include onshore accommodation or catering. The itinerary is subject to change dependent on weather.\nWe do need this event to be full for us to race. We will review this a month before.

DESCRIPTION:Join us onboard ‘Pure Latitude’ in Brest for the substantial 230‑mile passage back to Hamble. This is a rare opportunity to stretch your offshore legs\, build miles\, and experience a proper Channel adventure on a fast\, comfortable and beautifully balanced performance cruiser. \nDeparting on 30th June\, we’ll sail around the Brittany headlands and setting a course for Hamble. Expect a mix of coastal and offshore sailing\, night hours at sea\, and the satisfaction of making real distance under sail. \nThe precise itinerary will be weather dependent but we’re expecting to make at least one stop for a night ashore either in Northern Brittany or the Channel Islands. \nPrice:\nSaloon berth: £800 or 80 points.\nPrivate forecabin (ensuite): Twin occupancy @ £1750 or 175 points. Single occupancy @ £1250 or 125 points.\nPrivate aft cabin (no ensuite): Twin occupancy @ £1500 or 150 points. If you’re after adrenaline-fuelled competition\, breathtaking scenery\, and a huge sense of achievement\, this is the race to tick off your sailing bucket list. \nThe Race\nExperience the thrill of the race on Pure Latitude’s brand-new XC42\, a stunning performance cruiser that blends speed\, precision and comfort.\nRacing under the ISC handicap system\, you’ll enjoy an exhilarating yet accessible competition\, flying spinnakers\, honing your teamwork\, and pushing for every knot of boat speed. It’s the perfect mix of competitive sailing but generally a bit less hardcore.. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\n \nFriday – Meet your skipper and crew at 09:00 in Hamble for a full day of hands-on race training. You’ll focus on coordination\, sail trimming and race tactics to get the most out of the boat. In the evening\, sail across to Cowes for a crew debrief and dinner ashore. \nSaturday – Race Day! Expect an early start as you join the spectacular mass start off Cowes. The race typically lasts 8–9 hours\, with the fleet stretching as far as the eye can see. Afterwards\, return to Cowes to enjoy the post-race atmosphere and celebrations. \nSunday – Sail back to Hamble. \nAccommodation\nYou’ll be staying onshore in Cowes.\nAccommodation is not included\, and spaces nearby fill quickly\, so we recommend booking early. Join our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ for a training day in Dartmouth on Tuesday\, followed by four fabulous days of inshore regatta racing in picturesque South Devon. \nThe Race\nDartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week is the UK’s largest sailing regatta after Cowes Week appealing to the serious racing enthusiast\, but also offering family friendly events for the novice or cruising yachtsman. \nThe itinerary (subject to change)\nWednesday – Meet onboard for a training day on the water\, followed by a crew dinner.\nThursday– Sat – Daily racing\, with crew dinners each evening.\nSunday – Final race day followed by departure. \nAccommodation\nWe recommend you book accommodation (early) in Dartmouth. There are limited berths available onboard and are available on a first come first serve basis.\nIf accommodation is required\, please do discuss requirements with the PL team.
