PL members, PL staff & 3rd party contractors all advised by PL to follow government SDG. Marinas have independently issued the same guidance to their staff and customers.
Specific notes for respiratory transmission

  1. Boat keys have been relocated from marina office to gas lockers.
  2. PL members requested to not enter the marina office.
  3. Members advised of need to book fuel dock appointments.
  4. Members advised to visit no other river, harbours or marina outside of the home port.
PL members – Other marina users Car park / Pontoon / Boats / Marina facilities / Fuel dock Restriction of interaction in line with government SDG. 1. Members advised to avoid use of marina washrooms and toilets unless essential and sure that SDG can be followed.

2. PL members advised of need to book fuel dock appointments.

3. PL members advised to visit no other river, harbours or marina outside of the home port.

PL members – PL staff Car park / Pontoons / Boats / Pure Latitude office Restriction of interaction in line with government SDG. 1. Instructor training days suspended.

2. Event programme suspended.

3. Competency assessment restricted to specific cases where low interpersonal proximity is required.

Specific  notes for AEROSOL transmission

2. Avoiding where possible the need for PL staff to board the vessel on the day of usage – prior to the member arriving.

1. PL members, PL staff & 3rd party contractors all advised by PL to follow PHE coronavirus guidelines. Marinas have independently issued the same guidance to their staff and customers.

2. PL members and staff advised by PL to sanitise themselves before boarding any boat.

3. Frequent quarantine days of all boats to help reduce likelihood of virus transmission.

Specific notes for contact transmission
PL members Car park / Trolleys  / Pontoons / Fuel dock Adherence to PHE guidelines relating to Coronavirus. 1. PL members advised to avoid touching their face and sanitise their hands after contact with any surface. Hand sanitiser provided onboard the boats.
On the boats – high frequency contact surfaces as listed in our Covid operational notes. Sanitisation after each user. 1. PL staff to sanitise high frequency contact surfaces after each user, in addition to standard member cleaning obligation.
