This one day training and familiarisation event for members holding a powerboat level 2 and day skipper theory qualification, covers everything you need to know for an enjoyable powerboat trip out in the Solent. Our instructor will cover high-speed manoeuvres, close quarter boat handling, coming alongside, engine checks, anchoring and navigation. You will come away feeling more confident in your powerboating skills. For suitably experienced boaters, the day can also include competence assessment.
