Our 6.5m Rib ‘Pure Petrol’ is one of Ballistic’s best-selling ribs of all time and it’s not hard to see why. She offers supremely nimble performance whilst also providing sufficient space for general leisure use.
Durable, safe and easy to drive, Pure Petrol provides club members with easy days on the water. She’s ideal for popping over to Cowes or Yarmouth for lunch, spectating at an array of premium Solent regattas or just taking family and friends for a white knuckle ride!
Pure Petrol is part of our boat share fleet based in Hamble.
Her layout is a mix of sporty seating down the back with an accommodating and versatile foredeck for lounging and lunch. As is standard on the Ballistic 6.5, she offers two jockey seats at the helm which offer great support in turns and over waves when seated and sturdy leaning posts when standing.
The deep 21° deadrise hull has a sharp bow and prominent reverse chines over a set of four running strakes each side. This provides a very stable ride and excellent grip when cornering.
Her 4-stroke Suzuki 175hp outboard packs plenty of punch underway and is very close to the maximum power rating advised for the Ballistic 6.5m. In other words, she’s rapid!
Pure Petrol is coded to CAT3 (allowing passages of up to 20 miles from a safe haven) and carries a full inventory of safety equipment including lifejackets and harnesses.
Additional systems include: Lowrance Hook 5 chartplotter, depth instruments and ICOM IC-M421 fixed VHF radio.
