The Cinque Terre (five towns) is a string of five fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera (region Liguria) which until recently were linked only by mule tracks and accessible only by rail or water.
The Cinque Terre is noted for its picture postcard beauty. Over the centuries, people have carefully built terraces to cultivate grapes and olives on the rugged, steep landscape right up to the cliffs that overlook the Mediterranean Sea.
The breathtaking views of the harbours far below the wild but hospitable coastline along with the medieval fortresses and plentiful vines and vibrant colours make this a memorable sailing destination.
With film stars and fashionistas jumping on their superyachts, the town, flanked by pastel-coloured houses, comes alive in the sunshine whilst many locals venture out on strolls through the beautiful town. Bag the seats at the best restaurants that spill across the harbour, swim in the child-free, sun-warmed Paraggi bay and enjoy uninterrupted views over the Italian Riviera. Steal a slice of la dolce vita onboard our X-Yacht 46.
Ristorante Belforte was born about 50 years ago. It has always been managed by local families and been known for its incredible location overlooking the sea along with simple cooking of local products and the most famous Ligurian recipes.
Specialising in old flavours from the Ligurian vegetable gardens, pasta treated with care and fresh daily fish hooked straight out of Vernazza sea – everything is delicious and heavily seasoned with the pleasure of cooking for others.
Ideally located on the harbour, Ristorante Stella offers beautiful panoramic views over the water. Quintessentially Italian, the menu offers beautifully presented and delicious fresh seafood and Ligurian dishes. With outstanding service, Ristorante Stella commands an excellent reputation.
