DESCRIPTION:Race onboard our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ for the final 2023 racing opportunity. The HYS Hamble IRC Autumn Championship will consist of 5 races with 3 races on Saturday 14th October and 2 races on Sunday 15th October. The cost includes a training day on Friday 13th October.  Due to the time of year and the racing format\, a higher level of skill\, experience and commitment (more so than JOG or offshore racing) is required. \nThe itinerary (subject to change): \nFriday 13th October  – Training day\nArrival at Hamble for 14:30am\nOff Dock at 15:00am \nSaturday – Race Day\nOff dock at 07:30am.\n3 races followed by crew dinner. \nSunday – Race Day\nOff dock time will be confirmed on Saturday.\n2 Races followed by departure back at Hamble. \nAccommodation:\nStaying overnight in Hamble.\nWe ask crew to stay onshore and highly advise accommodation to be booked early. DESCRIPTION:An enjoyable way to explore the Western Solent whilst benefiting from the top tips and guidance of a PL instructor. This 2-day trip will visit some of the best sailing destinations on both the island and mainland sides of the Solent. \nYou’ll stay on the boat overnight\, either in Lymington or Yarmouth Marina. The itinerary will be determined by the weather forecast\, but expect to visit some of the following destinations: \nBeaulieu River \nThe beautiful unspoilt Beaulieu river owned by Lord Montague is one of the few privately owned rivers in the world. Options include dropping anchor or picking up a buoy in the tranquil river or a visit to Bucklers Hard where Nelson’s Trafalgar fleet were built. \nLymington \nFurther to the west in the New Forest is the busy Georgian town and yachting mecca of Lymington set at the top of the Lymington river estuary. \nYarmouth \nJust across the water from Lymington on the Isle of Wight is the wonderfully quirky and historic port of Yarmouth\, with its Tudor castle built by Henry VIII\, seafaring traditions and welcoming hostelries. \nNewtown Creek \nJust along the coast from Yarmouth and perfect for a lunch stop is Newtown Creek. Once a busy medieval harbour\, but now a tranquil National Trust nature reserve\, home to many species including a growing pod of seals. \nThe price is for a private double cabin (for up to 2 occupants).

DESCRIPTION:Get away from it all on our one week Pure Latitude Sporades Flotilla from 23rd to 30th September 2023. Fly from Gatwick to Volos to meet your boat in Volos Port. \nVolos lies at the northern tip of the Pagasitikos Gulf\, a lake-like stretch of water just 13 Nautical miles across. The south side of the gulf is the gateway to the Aegean Sea and the nearby Sporades islands. As day turns to night\, you’ll work through a serious of navigational exercises before overnighting in a Solent marina away from Port Hamble (choice dependent on weather). Day 2 will focus on marina boat handling both in the morning and on return to Port Hamble\, with more sail trim and navigational work covered on the return leg to Port Hamble. \nJoin with other members and benefit from a 2:1 student-instructor ratio for a high quality training experience! \nMarina fees away from the home berth and food onboard are not included.
