DESCRIPTION:An enjoyable way to explore the Western Solent whilst benefiting from the top tips and guidance of a PL instructor. This 2-day trip will visit some of the best sailing destinations on both the island and mainland sides of the Solent. \nYou’ll stay on the boat overnight\, either in Lymington or Yarmouth Marina. The itinerary will be determined by the weather forecast\, but expect to visit some of the following destinations: \nBeaulieu River \nThe beautiful unspoilt Beaulieu river owned by Lord Montague is one of the few privately owned rivers in the world. Options include dropping anchor or picking up a buoy in the tranquil river or a visit to Bucklers Hard where Nelson’s Trafalgar fleet were built. \nLymington \nFurther to the west in the New Forest is the busy Georgian town and yachting mecca of Lymington set at the top of the Lymington river estuary. \nYarmouth \nJust across the water from Lymington on the Isle of Wight is the wonderfully quirky and historic port of Yarmouth\, with its Tudor castle built by Henry VIII\, seafaring traditions and welcoming hostelries. \nNewtown Creek \nJust along the coast from Yarmouth and perfect for a lunch stop is Newtown Creek. Once a busy medieval harbour\, but now a tranquil National Trust nature reserve\, home to many species including a growing pod of seals. \nThe price is for a private double cabin (for up to 2 occupants).

Fly from Gatwick to Volos to meet your boat in Volos Port. \nVolos lies at the northern tip of the Pagasitikos Gulf\, a lake-like stretch of water just 13 Nautical miles across. The south side of the gulf is the gateway to the Aegean Sea and the nearby Sporades islands. DESCRIPTION:An enjoyable way to explore the Western Solent whilst benefiting from the top tips and guidance of a PL instructor. This 2-day trip will visit some of the best sailing destinations on both the island and mainland sides of the Solent. \nYou’ll stay on the boat overnight\, either in Lymington or Yarmouth Marina. The itinerary will be determined by the weather forecast\, but expect to visit some of the following destinations: \nBeaulieu River \nThe beautiful unspoilt Beaulieu river owned by Lord Montague is one of the few privately owned rivers in the world. Options include dropping anchor or picking up a buoy in the tranquil river or a visit to Bucklers Hard where Nelson’s Trafalgar fleet were built. \nLymington \nFurther to the west in the New Forest is the busy Georgian town and yachting mecca of Lymington set at the top of the Lymington river estuary. \nYarmouth \nJust across the water from Lymington on the Isle of Wight is the wonderfully quirky and historic port of Yarmouth\, with its Tudor castle built by Henry VIII\, seafaring traditions and welcoming hostelries. \nNewtown Creek \nJust along the coast from Yarmouth and perfect for a lunch stop is Newtown Creek. Once a busy medieval harbour\, but now a tranquil National Trust nature reserve\, home to many species including a growing pod of seals. \nThe price is for a private double cabin (for up to 2 occupants).

DESCRIPTION:Join the trip to Val d ‘Isere. Val is an excellent all round resort with plenty of variety to cater for all ski abilities\, from beginner to guided off-piste. Join Martin for the full week or a just a few days. \nRather than tie everyone into one large group staying together\, we prefer to be more flexible and ask that you book your preferred style of accommodation\, travel and indeed trip duration from the extensive range of options available. We’ll meet at 09.30 every day\, usually at the Olympic lift\, and make route choices dependent on conditions (bring your charts!) We’ll also meet after skiing and for some evening meals out. This is going to be a very special trip with a likely mileage in excess of 250 nautical miles. \nThis stunning 2022 J-45 is quite some boat\, and she is available through Pure Latitude for this trip as she is owned by an ex-club member. She’s a superlative performer that is everything a cruiser/racer should be; easily handled\, impeccably behaved\, beautifully comfortable down below and\, perhaps most importantly of all\, impressively quick. The price tag on a new J/45 comes in upwards of £700\,000\, so this is a very special opportunity to sail onboard this beautiful boat. \nAnd the destination won’t disappoint either! Nestling in the Normandy estuary where the Seine meets the English channel\, harbours don’t come any prettier than Honfleur. Colourful half-timbered houses jostle for position on the quay\, along with art galleries and restaurants serving delicious seafood. It’s a gem to visit and always extra fun on a boat.
