Ashore\, the rich history\, charming mix of cultures and exceptional cuisine add another dimension to any visit. The plans for this trip are highly weather dependent so a precise itinerary will be decided closer to the time but expect to depart Hamble by 7pm on Wednesday 15th May and return by 5pm on Sunday 19th May. \nAccommodation onboard Pure Attitude:\nCabins are available on our Pure Latitude skippered sailing boat.\nPrivate double cabin: 85 points – The price is for a private double cabin (for up to 2 occupants). \nAccommodation onboard Issamella II:\nCabins are available on our second Pure Latitude skippered sailing boat.\nPrivate cabin: Single Occupancy is 105 points or £1\,575.  Double Occupancy is 140 points or £2100 \nBooking a boat: \nTo follow the lead boat\, book a boat following normal procedure and register below. DESCRIPTION:Fancy blasting across the channel on the J/45 ‘Stickleback’ to the beautiful French harbour of Honfleur? This is going to be a very special trip with a likely mileage in excess of 250 nautical miles. \nThis stunning 2022 J-45 is quite some boat\, and she is available through Pure Latitude for this trip as she is owned by an ex-club member. She’s a superlative performer that is everything a cruiser/racer should be; easily handled\, impeccably behaved\, beautifully comfortable down below and\, perhaps most importantly of all\, impressively quick. The price tag on a new J/45 comes in upwards of £700\,000\, so this is a very special opportunity to sail onboard this beautiful boat. \nAnd the destination won’t disappoint either! Nestling in the Normandy estuary where the Seine meets the English channel\, harbours don’t come any prettier than Honfleur. Colourful half-timbered houses jostle for position on the quay\, along with art galleries and restaurants serving delicious seafood. It’s a gem to visit and always extra fun on a boat. If time and weather permit\, the itinerary may also include a stop in Fecamp. \nAccommodation onboard ‘Stickleback’:\nPrivate double cabin: £1800 for 1 person. £900 for a 2nd person in the cabin ie. £2700 for a couple. \nPlease note:\nAll ancillary costs (mooring\, food onboard and ashore) to be covered by crew. \nPayment terms – By invoice at the time of booking.

DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble\, the X-Yachts GB Solent Cup makes for a great weekend of racing and socialising. Join our X-Yacht 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ for a training day on Friday\, followed by two days of fun racing. There are optional (paid) social events on the Friday and Saturday evenings plus prize giving on Sunday. \nRacing experience desirable but not essential. We welcome enthusiastic learners. \nThe weekend usually includes: \nFriday 31st May – Training day\nArrival at Hamble for 10.00\nCrew Dinner \nSaturday 1st June – Race Day\nOff dock 09.00\n2 races followed by “Howards’ Way” themed dinner & party. (to be invoiced separately\, ticket price TBC) \nSunday 2nd June – Race Day\nOff dock 09.00\n1 Race followed by Prize Giving. \nAccommodation:\nStaying overnight in Hamble.\nPlease stay onshore and we highly advise booking early.
