DESCRIPTION:The Round the Island Race is the biggest yacht race of the year\, globally. With so many sailors in one place\, the tension and on-the-water battles make it a unique race. If you want an exhilarating competitive race\, a fantastic spectacle\, a real sense of achievement and a lasting memory then look no further.  It is a superb spectacle\, and everyone should do it at least once! \nThe Race:\nThe Racers boat will be on our X-37 which is more performance oriented\, competing under IRC with the racers and with hi-tech laminate sails. This is the boat to join if you are a racer or think you will enjoy the cut and thrust of battling it out on the water. \nThe itinerary (subject to change):\nFriday – Join your race skipper and fellow crew at 09:00am in Hamble for a day of training. The focus will be on teamwork and maximising boat speed in preparation for the race. On Friday evening the boat will return to Port Hamble for a crew de-brief and dinner ashore. \nSaturday – Race Day always begins with an early start! After the race you will return to Hamble for departure. Expect the race to last around 8-9 hours. \nAccommodation:\nIf accommodation is required for the Friday evening\, please do discuss requirements with the PL team. Accommodation is not guaranteed. \nPlease note:\nPrice does not include onshore accommodation or catering. The itinerary is subject to change dependent on weather and race start times.

DESCRIPTION:The Round the Island Race is the biggest yacht race of the year\, globally. Approximately 1\,800 yachts\, from small day-sailors to 100-foot multihulls\, line up to race the 60-mile course around the Isle of Wight. Taking part lets you soak up the unique atmosphere created by this mass participation event\, with so many sailors in one place\, the tension of so many yachts around you and the multiple on-the-water battles there is no other race like it. If you want an exhilarating competitive race\, a fantastic spectacle\, a real sense of achievement and a lasting memory then look no further. \nThe Race:\nThe Cruiser boat will take place typically on one of our Hanses\, Dufours or Jeanneau which are a little more cruise oriented and compete under ISC which is a looser rating system and generally a bit less hardcore\, but still flying spinnakers and plenty of on-the-water action. \nThe itinerary (subject to change):\nFriday – Join your race skipper and fellow crew at 09:00am in Hamble for a day of training. The focus will be on teamwork and maximising boat speed in preparation for the race. DESCRIPTION:The Race:\nRace onboard our X-Yachts 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ in one of the most popular RORC races on the calendar Cowes – St Malo race. With 2023 as a Fastnet year\, it will be a bumper entry list and we should see some fantastic racing. This race duration is 151nm. \nThe RORC race to St Malo takes place on Friday 7th July and forms part of the JOG Offshore series in 2023. \nThe itinerary (subject to change): \nIt is best to come down Thursday evening for an early start the next day. \nFriday – Early set off time around 6am. Race day. \nSaturday – Arrive in St Malo and if time allows have a crew meal. \nSunday – Departure back at Hamble with the aim to be back Sunday evening. Please note this could change and you may not be back till the early hours of Monday morning. \nAccommodation: \nPlease let know if you are planning to stay in Hamble or wish to stay on the boat on Thursday night. During the race\, you will be sleeping in shared cabins appropriate to the number of crew and space available and watch system. \nPlease note:\nPrice does not include catering.

SUMMARY:Racing - Taittinger RSYC Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by the Royal Solent Yacht Club and sponsored by Taittinger\, this Regatta makes for a great weekend of racing and partying. Join our X-Yacht 37 ‘Pure Attitude’ for a training day on Friday\, arriving in Yarmouth in time for the Champagne Reception and Club Supper. Saturday and Sunday feature three races in the Western Solent. \nThe weekend’s social events usually include: \nFriday Evening: \n– 18:30 – 19:30 = Taittinger Champagne Reception (to be invoiced separately\, ticket price TBC) \n– 19:00 – 21:00 = Club Supper (to be invoiced separately\, ticket price TBC) \nSaturday Evening:  \n– Crew dinner = arranged somewhere local. \n– 20:30 – 01:00 = The Towers’ party and Fireworks. The ever popular fundraising party with 3 bars and several live bands in the garden of ‘The Towers’ adjacent to the RSYC (to be invoiced separately\, ticket price TBC). \nPlease do confirm the events you would like us to book for you. \nAccommodation: \nWe ask crew to stay on shore and highly advise accommodation to be booked early in Yarmouth for Friday and Saturday night. There is very limited space on board. \nPrice does not include on-shore accommodation or catering.
