Day 2 will focus on marina boat handling both in the morning and on return to Port Hamble\, with more sail trim and navigational work covered on the return leg to Port Hamble. \nJoin with other members and benefit from a 2:1 student-instructor ratio for a high quality training experience! \nMarina fees away from the home berth and food onboard are not included.

Crew dinner at local restaurant. \nSaturday – Race day followed by a BBQ. \nSunday – Race day followed by dinner and social in Cowes. \nMonday – Race day. Return to Hamble. \nAccommodation:\nStaying overnight in Cowes\nAccommodation options are available. SUMMARY:Powerboat training – Single engine
DESCRIPTION:This one day training and familiarisation event for members holding a powerboat level 2\, covers everything you need to know for an enjoyable powerboat trip out in the Solent. Our instructor will cover high-speed manoeuvres\, close quarter boat handling\, coming alongside\, engine checks\, anchoring and navigation. The aim is to come away feeling more confident in your power boating\, and includes skills based training on our Cap Camarat 7.5 ‘Pure Wave’ and Island rib ‘Pure Kicks’.
