Whether you are looking to expand your sailing network\, familiarise yourself with the cruising area\, develop confidence or just enjoy some social sailing\, this is sure to be a fun day out with likeminded members. \nThe day starts at 9am at Port Hamble\, returning by 5pm. SUMMARY:Pure Latitude Flotilla to the Sporades\, Greece
DESCRIPTION:Get away from it all on our one week Pure Latitude Sporades Flotilla from 23rd to 30th September 2023. Fly from Gatwick to Volos to meet your boat in Volos Port. \nVolos lies at the northern tip of the Pagasitikos Gulf\, a lake-like stretch of water just 13 Nautical miles across. The south side of the gulf is the gateway to the Aegean Sea and the nearby Sporades islands. Explore as a group or venture into the blue for some peace and quiet\, meeting up for social meals at local tavernas. \nA Pure Latitude lead boat will be in the fleet to guide as little or as much as needed. \nBoat prices (yachts 35 – 43ft) range from €2600 – €3900.\nA group discount will be available once we confirm numbers. \nMembers will need to organise travel to Volos (EasyJet). \nInterest in this trip must be registered by 22 January. \nEmail info@purelatitude.com to find out more.

DESCRIPTION:An enjoyable way to explore the Western Solent whilst benefiting from the top tips and guidance of a PL instructor. This 2-day trip will visit some of the best sailing destinations on both the island and mainland sides of the Solent. \nYou’ll stay on the boat overnight\, either in Lymington or Yarmouth Marina. The itinerary will be determined by the weather forecast\, but expect to visit some of the following destinations: \nBeaulieu River \nThe beautiful unspoilt Beaulieu river owned by Lord Montague is one of the few privately owned rivers in the world. Options include dropping anchor or picking up a buoy in the tranquil river or a visit to Bucklers Hard where Nelson’s Trafalgar fleet were built. \nLymington \nFurther to the west in the New Forest is the busy Georgian town and yachting mecca of Lymington set at the top of the Lymington river estuary. \nYarmouth \nJust across the water from Lymington on the Isle of Wight is the wonderfully quirky and historic port of Yarmouth\, with its Tudor castle built by Henry VIII\, seafaring traditions and welcoming hostelries. \nNewtown Creek \nJust along the coast from Yarmouth and perfect for a lunch stop is Newtown Creek. Once a busy medieval harbour\, but now a tranquil National Trust nature reserve\, home to many species including a growing pod of seals. \nThe price is for a private double cabin (for up to 2 occupants).
