SUMMARY:Competence assessment - Sailboat
DESCRIPTION:This one day assessment is the fastest way for experienced skippers to get on the water and demonstrate competence. You will focus on at the core skills required to safely skipper sailboats within the Pure Latitude fleet. With up to three members onboard\, you will each be asked to assume the role of skipper to demonstrate your ability and understanding of: boat checks\, safety briefings\, boat handling under both sail and motor\, and IRPCS. Please allow adequate time to prepare a passage plan for the day that should be submitted to office three days prior to the assessment date. \nBefore booking an assessment please ensure you’ve completed the Pre-Qualification form and have read our guidance on the Competence Process
